  • What kind of samples are used to create a virtual twin?
    Virtual twins are created from biometric data (watches, smart scales) and biological samples (blood, urine, saliva). The collection process is quick, easy, and almost painless. We suggest starting the construction of your virtual twin with blood samples; blood is one of the most informative biological materials, making it a perfect choice for creating your virtual twin.
  • What's included in my TwinMe sample kit?
    It contains everything necessary for blood sampling, detailed step-by-step instructions, and a prepaid return envelope to send the samples back to the laboratory.
  • How do I use my TwinMe sample kit?
    There is a QR code directly on the envelope that leads to detailed instructions, as well as a video available below.
  • I received the kit but did not start the process immediately. How do I process?
    You may begin the sampling process at your convenience upon receiving your sampling kit. However, it is essential to promptly send your samples after the collection period ends to minimize the delay between the collection of your first sample and its analysis by our laboratory. If you have not completed all samples within 14 days, you may return the collected samples to our laboratory, and the construction of your digital twin will commence with the samples received.
  • I started the sample collection, but I skipped a day. Can I continue the process?
    The collection process can continue even if you skipped a day. Since you indicate the date and time of the sample on each strip, we will be able to identify the days of collection.
  • How can I obtain enough blood for the sample?
    Here are some tips that might help improve blood flow: When washing your hands just before pricking, leave them under hot water for a while (pricking right after a shower or bath is even more effective); Shake your hand vigorously before pricking; Try different fingers each time Prick the top of the finger instead of the side; Choose a spot on the finger that doesn't have calluses; Apply pressure with the lancet against the finger before pressing the button (so the needle goes deeper); Apply slight pressure on the finger after pricking to create a larger droplet, then place it on the paper.
  • When all my samples have been submitted, is my virtual twin complete?
    We encourage frequent sample submissions—the more data we have, the more accurate your Virtual Twin becomes. This not only builds a comprehensive history but also enhances your personal health and wellness insights.
  • I have sent my samples, but I do not see any results on the TwinMe portal. What should I do?
    Results may take up to 12 weeks to appear on the portal, depending on factors such as demand and sample processing times. By clicking "Samples and Questionnaires" in the portal, you can find the number of samples registered by the BioTwin laboratory so far and the level of your virtual twin, calculated based on the amount of information collected through samples and questionnaires, and the percentage completed before it reaches the next level. The BioTwin team is currently working on displaying new types of results on the portal under the "My Results" section, such as your nutrition score, your physical activity level, your sleep score, age results and more.
  • I forgot to complete the "Sample Questionnaire" after collecting each strip. What should I do?
    The more information your virtual twin accumulates (samples, questionnaires, biometric data), the more precise it will be. Biological samples provide the most valuable information. Therefore, it is better to submit your samples without the questionnaire responses than vice versa. Consider ordering a new kit soon to submit a new series of samples, ensuring this time that you complete the sample questionnaire for each strip.
  • I made an error on a questionnaire. How can I correct it?
    "For reasons of anonymity and integrity, it is not possible to modify your questionnaire responses. The simplest solution is to submit a new questionnaire. You will be prompted to answer each question again, allowing you to correct previously entered information or add new details. Our system will consider the most recently completed questionnaire based on the date and time of completion."
  • How can I connect smart devices?
    In the portal, under the "Connect Devices" section, you can explore various applications that you can link to your virtual twin. Simply select the desired third party application and follow the instructions to connect your device.
  • How do I indicate that I am referred by a BioTwin partner?
    In the profile questionnaire, you will find a dedicated space to enter your response to this question.
  • Who has access to my data and how?
